About the Committee Members
This page is intended to help the visitor connect real persons with the members of the committee. We are people from all walks of life with a vision of a monument that will last after we are all gone and forgotten. We wanted a place where a father can take his son or daughter and show them the sacrifice that was made by many. We wanted a place where a woman might take her elderly mother or father and help them understand why she felt the need to serve her country.
This Monument will be the place for reflecting and remembering.
Here are the members of the Adams County Veterans Monument Committee:
Kim Wilder has worked in the Adams County Veterans Service Office for 15 years. Kim is in contact daily with veterans from all walks of life. This project, the Adams County Veterans Monument, has grown from an idea that Kim once had to a project that the entire Adams County will be proud of. Kim’s father is a veteran of the Korean War, and her brother is a veteran of the United States Army.
